Travelers is one of the nation's biggest insurance companies. They have offices nationwide and have thousands of insurance agencies representing them.
The insurance agencies had trouble updating claims and policies in travelers main database. This would be normally done over the phone or by a primitive DOS-based application.
HighburyTech created an extranet solution to enable insurance agencies to update and send insurance claims to the main office in Hartford CT.
This was done using Microsoft Back-office platform. Customized DLLs were generated using Microsoft Visual C++ to update the mainframe computers located nationwide.

Citibank
Citibank is part of the world's largest financial corporation - CitiGroup.
Citibank needed to keep track of customer information. Each Branch had it's own list of customers and the information between branches and groups was not the same.
HighburyTech created a central database and web front end so that the data would only be updated in one central location.
Higburytech used Oracle business tools, Java components, and Microsoft Backoffice to accomplish this.

Bayer Pharmaceuticals
Bayer is a household name for pharmaceuticals products. Every year their research team develops new products. The process of deciding which new products would be approved and manufactured was slow and tedious.
Highburytech created a workflow automation process using Lotus Notes and Oracle business tools to enable new products to be reviewed and approved quickly. The lab would submit a new product into the system and it would then be passed on to line-managers and different authorities within the company. This greatly reduces the paper work between departments and scientists would know if their product was approved or not within a few weeks.

Deutsche Bank
Highbury Tech did a project for Bankers Trust, which was recently acquired by Deutsche Bank, a large investment company with proven financial success. The company invests in many sectors and has numerous mutual funds and investment strategies. The marketing department wanted to make mutual fund reports available to prospective and existing customers. With hundreds of funds and millions of reports, this seemed like an impossible task.
HighburyTech developed a document management system to store the reports and classify them accordingly. A highly secure extranet website was built to release these reports to the public. Customers could now see how their fund was doing by logging on to their website.

Chase - JP Morgan
JP Morgan hires thousands of talented people every year. Training employees was proving to be costly. HighburyTech implemented a E-Learning solution using Mirosoft and Oracle Business tools. Employees could now post lessons and tips for new employees on the company website. This proved to be a very cost-effective solution and now employees could access resources from anywhere.

The company provides services worldwide. But the Consulting group's documents were created in Lotus Smartsuite, a template not designed for distributing documents. HighburyTech created custom scripts to convert these documents to Micorsoft Office formats such as Excel and Word.

New York State Health Department
The state has numerous employees that use Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange Server for calendaring. HighburyTech customized the system enabling the employees to share their calendar and helped the schedule meeting amongst themselves.
Features included:
- Employess could view each other's calendars, and create appointments based on availability.
- The web-enabled version allows employees to create appointments while on the road.
- Detailed features of conference rooms and schedules.
- Communication between Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes databases.

HighburyTech was asked to create their internet website. Thousands of numbers and formulas were need to be input to calculate ideal weights, gym schedules, exercise routines, fatigue factors between reps, etc. Microsoft Back office business tools.

The company is an Internet Service Provider for TV stations. HighburyTech Created a Internet Site Template enabling local TV stations to get their new stories on-line in a cost-effective way. Newscasters and weathermen could now log on and publish their own stories without having to pass on the information to their webmasters. Breaking news could now be made available via the internet as it happened with minimal cost.

Customers can log in and look at their accounts, create their own profiles and track the shipment of products. Employees are able to manage website content through HighburyTech's software.
